This house was purchased in the fall of 2018 with the proceeds from the sale of a small apartment building.  It was purchased as a "fixer upper" and was under constant renovation since purchase until the summer of 2019, at which time four students moved in.  

Renovations included:

• knocking down a wall to expand the kitchen area to create a bar
• knocking down a wall upstairs, to eliminate one of the six bedrooms and to expand the bathroom area to make it more usable
• new flooring throughout, commercial quality vinyl in common areas, new carpet in the bedrooms and tile in the bathroom
• new paint in the common areas
• recessed lighting in the living room
• new electrical throughout
• replacing old radiators with baseboard in bedrooms and some common areas
• new kitchen cabinets, counter tops and accents around the new bar area

Since last summer, the home has still been under constant improvement, including replacing windows and the entire heating system.

Most importantly, the four students who moved in also happen to be great people, who I have formed a positive relationship with.  They are undoubtedly some of SUNY Oswego's finest student athletes and I am grateful for having met them.  It has been genuinely wonderful watching them turn this house into their home.  Since they have moved in they have respected the home and even made some improvements themselves, turning the basement area into usable living space by putting a movie theater there.  I take pride in knowing they will graduate in this house and have great years and lasting memories living there!
